2020 F/W SON JUNG WAN COLLECTION

“Over the 50s”

Son Jung Wan Fall/Winter 2020 Collection during New York Fashion was breathe taking. Inspired by the 1950’s, each piece spoke individually even though it was a complete collection. The show opened up with a bright green wool jumpsuit with plunging neck line, matching wool coat with plaid sleeves. As each look passed on, the color scheme gradually changed from Bright Greens, to Dark Olives then to Bronze, Vintage Indigo, Barberry Red, and sparkly cream sequin, just like Autumn trees.

Son Jung Wang illustrates the collection with bold color and constructed silhouettes.  The collection shows newly reinterpreted modern women with exaggerated silhouettes and 50’s vintage mood.

Son Jung Wan translates her view on structure and shape onto the fabric with hard virgin wool, the elegant and feminine look is completed by emphasizing the tailoring in silk.
